In July & August, we're hosting six different art camps in our studios!  Each camp is Monday-Thursday from 9am-3pm.​

STEAM Art Camp
LIBERTY: July 7th-10th
PLATTE WOODS: July 14th-17th
For ages 4-12 years

Dive into hands-on projects that blend science, technology, engineering, art, and math, like crafting glowing circuit bugs, building colorful rainbow lava jars, and designing marble mazes. Artists will explore color theory by painting vibrant color wheels and discover how art and innovation come together in exciting ways. Join us for a week of imagination, discovery, and fun!

Glitterfest Art Camp
LIBERTY: July 14th-17th

For ages 4-12 years

Welcome to GLITTERFEST--the ultimate art camp where creativity meets sparkle!

​Young artists will explore a world of glitter and shine through dazzling projects like drawing glittery self-portraits, sculpting sparkly clay geodes, and printing shimmering geometric designs. The adventure continues as we paint giant, glittering wings inspired by dragons, butterflies, fairies, and dragonflies. Every project is designed to ignite imagination and incorporate a generous dose of glitter and sparkles.

Decor & Dreams Art Camp
LIBERTY: July 21st-24th
PLATTE WOODS: July 28th-31st
For ages 4-12 years

Get ready to transform your room into a masterpiece! 

In this exciting four-day camp, young designers will dive into the world of interior decorating by creating a personalized vision board, hand-sewing a custom throw pillow, and building their very own clock. They'll also sculpt a whimsical chandelier and decoupage a nightlight to add a glow of creativity to their space. It's the perfect camp for budding decorators to let their imaginations shine!

Fire & Whimsy Art Camp
LIBERTY: July 28th-31st
PLATTE WOODS: July 7th-10th
For ages 4-12 years

Join us for a week of creativity and imagination as we journey into the land of dragons and unicorns!

Artists will create enchanting fantasy scenes using monoprinting techniques, sculpt whimsical unicorn and dragon busts with papier-mâché, and craft realistic looking dragon eyes using gems and plasticine clay. We'll also create a graphite-transfer collage drawing project that brings these legendary creatures to life.

Miniature Madness Art Camp
LIBERTY: August 4th-7th
PLATTE WOODS: August 11th-14th
For ages 4-12 years

Step into a world of tiny treasures.

Artists will design charm bracelets with custom Shrinky Dink drawings, paint vibrant masterpieces on miniature canvases, and craft whimsical felt finger puppets. We'll also create dazzling handheld galaxies using fillable snow globes, polymer clay, and glitter. Join us for a week of big creativity in miniature form!

Ocean Explorers Art Camp
PLATTE WOODS: August 4th-7th
LIBERTY: August 11th-14th
For ages 4-12 years

Embark on an undersea adventure! Young artists will bring the ocean to life--painting vibrant large-scale sea creatures, crafting whimsical papier-mâché fish sculptures, and drawing enchanting underwater worlds with oil pastels. We'll also create sparkling jellyfish mobiles that shimmer like the sea.

FAQs

What are they going to make?
Each camp makes at least four projects.  In each camp, we try to have drawing project, a painting project, a sculpture project, and a project that is either mixed media, printmaking, fiber, or metals.  In addition to the daily project, artists can make more art during our open creative stations in the afternoon.

Who can come to camp?
Summer Art Camps are designed for ages 4-12 years.  We divide our campers by into two classrooms for arrival, project time, lunch time, and dismissal.  This division is roughly by age with the younger campers in one room and the older campers in another classroom.  Both classroom do the exact same projects.  Parents can request to have children--siblings or friends--placed together (or separately!).

Can my 3-year-old come if they are almost four and really mature?
No, all campers must be 4 or older at the time of camp.
Additionally, artists must be generally happy to be at camp, including drop-off time.  And they must be able to use the bathroom independently.

What do we do about lunch?
Artists should bring a sack lunch for each day of camp.  A morning snack is provided.  Please note any food allergies in your registration so we can assure a safe environment for everyone.

Is there a sibling discount?
Due to supply costs, there are no sibling discounts for summer camps.
