Holiday Storytime: Snowmen at Night
For ages 2-6 years
Saturday December 20th, 10:00am-11:30am

Celebrate the season with a magical morning inspired by Snowmen at Night by Caralyn Buehner. We'll start with a fizzy snowman science activity, then read the story and create mixed media snowmen collages with paint, fabric, and sparkle. Class ends with time to explore our winter-themed creative play stations.

Winter Break Art Camp: Ice Cream Sundae Sculptures, ages 4 and up
Friday January 2nd, 10:00am-2:00pm
LIBERTY STUDIO
I scream...you scream...we all scream for ice cream!  Use modeling clay, paint, and collage materials to create your own sundae sculpture that looks good enough to eat.  In addition to making our project, we'll have plenty of time to explore some sweet-treat themed creative play stations.

Winter Break Art Camp: Dragon Eyes, ages 4 and up
Friday January 2nd, 10:00am-2:00pm
PLATTE WOODS STUDIO

Eye see you! We will use a glass pebble to craft our iris and pupil.  Then, we sculpt the scales around our eyes using plasticine clay.  In addition to making our project, we'll have plenty of time to explore some fantasy themed creative play stations.

Valentine’s Makers Lab, $28

​Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a morning or afternoon of creative fun! This station-based workshop features 8 hands-on Valentine projects that kids can make independently using simple examples and visual steps. From watercolor heart donuts to love bugs and stained-glass hearts, artists can explore at their own pace and create as many projects as they’d like.
Family-friendly (grown-ups may stay or drop off if artists are 5+)

​Artists adopt a small plush pet, name it, design a collar and tag, and build a cozy cardboard home filled with handmade accessories. A sweet mix of sculpture, design, and imaginative play—perfect for animal lovers.

Spring Break Mini Art Camp - Anime Art Light Box, $37

Artists design an extreme close-up anime face and turn it into a glowing lightbox. Using layered cutouts and battery lights inside a shadow box frame, they’ll create a dramatic 3D artwork that shines from within.

Create a bold pet portrait with a twist! Artists paint an animal on clear transparency using paint pens and acrylics, then layer it over a colorful patterned collage. The result is a vibrant, modern portrait full of texture and personality.

Inspired by M.C. Escher, artists design repeating shapes that interlock perfectly across the page. They’ll transform their template into a creature or object and finish with ink and colored pencils for a mesmerizing final pattern.

Each artist fills a divided palette with custom slime creations! Using pre-made base slime, kids add colors, glitter, foam beads, charms, scents, and more. A squishy, sparkly sensory experience they’ll take home and love.
