ARRIVAL TIME
You may arrive 15–20 minutes prior to your scheduled start time for set-up. Parties often run back-to-back, so early access is not possible while our staff resets the room.
Instructors are not available to supervise children during this set-up window. Please supervise your children if they come early; toys and coloring supplies are available in the lobby.
Party guests who arrive early may wait in the lobby but will not be admitted to the classroom until the party begins. Please do not enter other classrooms, supply rooms, or offices.

Parents, grandparents, and friends are welcome to attend as an audience for the party. Although we do not limit our adult audience, our building square footage is not limitless. Usually, we tell families that any more than 20 grown-ups in attendance at Liberty or 40 grown-ups in attendance at Platte Woods and the room is going to feel very crowded.
We expect our adult to be as well-behaved as our young artists. Our instructors will be leading 12-24 artists through a series of art activities so we ask that you help us by keeping adult conversations to times when we are not activity instructing.

ATTENDANCE & GUEST COUNTS
- Party packages include 12 artists with space for up to 24 total artists.
- Additional artists beyond 12 are $12 each.
- Final headcounts are due via email to our Studio Services Coordinator by Wednesday at 5:00pm before your party. This number will be used for set-up, supply preparation, and billing.
- Charges will reflect your final submitted headcount, even if fewer guests attend.
- The host family is responsible for adhering to the maximum party size. Instructors are not responsible for managing extra guests or preparing additional art stations.
CHANGING PARTY DATES/TIMES
Once booked, party dates and times may only be changed by forfeiting the original deposit and submitting a new deposit for the new date/time.

Most party packages cannot be changed after booking, as supplies are ordered in advance. If you’d like to inquire about changes, please reach out—we’ll do our best to accommodate.

DEPOSITS
A 50% deposit (based on the base package rate) is due at booking. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you cancel, your deposit is forfeited.

DISMISSAL
Parties end promptly at the scheduled time. Instructors will escort artists and families to the lobby, and staff will reset the classroom for the next event. Guests may gather in the lobby for up to 30 minutes after the party.

FOOD
You are welcome to bring your own food and treats. Families provide all serving items (plates, utensils, napkins, candles, etc.).
We have two rules regarding food:
1. All food is served/enjoyed AFTER the art activites have ended and are cleaned-up.
2. All food is enjoyed at the tables. Not in our lounge areas.
You will only have about 15 minutes to share treats. If you wish to do both food (such as pizza) and dessert, please let us know so we can shorten our art lesson to accommodate the extra time for food.

PARENT DROP-OFF
Parents may stay in the classroom or wait in the lobby. Drop-off is allowed if the child can follow directions and participate safely without parental supervision.

BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS
We expect guests to behave respectfully toward instructors, other guests, and studio property. Instructors reserve the right to redirect or remove guests who are disruptive or unsafe.

PHOTO AND VIDEO POLICY
Orange Easel occasionally photographs or films events for promotional purposes. By attending, guests consent to being photographed unless otherwise communicated to staff before the party.

OUTSIDE VENDORS/ENTERTAINMENT
Outside vendors or entertainers must be approved by Orange Easel in advance.

PAYMENTS
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at booking.
- The remaining balance (package remainder, additional artists, customizations/upgrades) is invoiced the Monday after your party and due within 7 days.
- A $50 late fee applies to balances not paid within 7 days.
- After 30 days unpaid, Orange Easel reserves the right to charge the card on file for the balance due.
WEATHER
Studios remain open during inclement weather unless power is lost. In that event, we will reschedule your party at the earliest available time. No refunds will be issued.
