Mini Art Camps

This year, we're excited to host smaller versions art camps designed especially for younger artists! Instead of being 4-days, these mini camps are one morning only!  Parents have the option to drop-off OR stay in the classroom to assist. Sign up for any TWO and your third mini camp is FREE! STEAM Mini Camp
PLATTE WOODS: June 10th, 9:30am-12:00pm
LIBERTY: June 12th, 9:30am-12:00pm
For ages 2-5 years

Join us for a morning of creativity and discovery.  Young artists will design and build their very own marble maze using plasticine clay--blending engineering and artistic flair. 

After our lesson and project time,  artists will explore STEAM-themed creative stations. It’s the perfect way to sparking curiosity and imaginative play while diving into the world of STEAM!

GLITTERFEST Mini Camp

For ages 2-5 years

​Sparkle and shine in our Glitterfest mini camp! Young artists will create dazzling glitter sensory bottles and whimsical glitter self-portraits. After project time, they'll explore hands-on creative play stations designed to inspire imagination and fun.

Decor & Dreams Mini Camp

For ages 2-5 years

Bring big dreams to life at Decor & Dreams! Kids will decorate cozy pillowcases and create magical lantern nightlights through the art of decoupage. After their projects, they'll enjoy exploring creative play stations filled with inspiring materials and activities.

Ocean Explorers Mini Camp

For ages 2-5 years

Dive into the wonders of the deep in Ocean Explorers! Artists will draw vibrant underwater scenes with oil pastels and then sculpt enchanting jellyfish mobiles to take home. Creative play stations will offer a sea of opportunities for little hands to explore and dream.​

Fire & Whimsy Mini Camp

For ages 2-5 years

Ignite creativity in Fire & Whimsy! Our morning begins by hatching dragon and unicorn eggs.  Then we'll use monoprinting and collage techniques to create a fantasy world filled with mythical creatures. Creative play stations will encourage them to imagine and explore in a world of wonder.

Miniature Madness Mini Camp
LIBERTY: June 24th, 9:30am-12:00pm

For ages 2-5 years

Step into a world of tiny treasures in Miniature Madness! Artists will design Shrinky Dink charm pendants with their own drawings and then paint miniature 3x3 canvases, creating small-scale masterpieces. Creative play stations will invite them to continue their journey into the magic of miniatures.​

FAQs

What are they going to make?
Each camp makes a different open-ended, child-directed project.  Check the camp description to find out what we're making.  In addition to the art project, artists will get to create during our warm-up activity at arrival time and can make even MORE art during our creative station time after snack.

Who can come to mini camp?
Mini Camps are designed for ages 2-5 years.  Projects are open-ended and process-orientated so everyone can be successful! 
​

Do parents drop-off or stay for class. 
If your artist is three years old, happy to be here, and can use the bathroom independently, you are welcome to drop-off.  Younger artists will need an adult assistant.  We will have a mix of parents who stay, parents who leave, and parents who do alittle bit of both!  For more information, read up on our Drop-Off Policy for preschool classes.

What does snack consist of?
Since our camp is 2.5 hours long, after our project time we'll invite the artist to wash hands and share a snack before heading into our creative stations play.  Snacks are provided by the studio and are simple, pre-portioned snack (crackers or cookies, usually).  Please note food allergies on your registration so we can ensure everyone has a safe environment.  If you wish to bring your own snack instead of sharing ours, that's a-okay.

Is there a sibling discount?
Due to supply costs, there are no sibling discounts for summer camps.  Check out our auto-discounts for multiple camp sessions. ​Only one auto-discount can be applied per order.
