Why we exhibit our art:

Confidence & Pride – Seeing artwork exhibited publicly gives us a sense of accomplishment.
Recognition & Validation – It affirms our creative efforts and talents.  Our work has value!
Inspiration & Motivation – Seeing work displayed alongside others can inspire continued artistic growth.
Communication Skills – Art serves as a form of self-expression; through art, we share our perspectives and emotions with others.
Professional Experience – It provides an introduction to how galleries and art exhibitions work.
Opportunity for Feedback & Growth – Seeing how others respond to our work can help us refine skills and ideas.
Developing a Portfolio – Exhibiting work builds an early portfolio, which can be beneficial for future opportunities in art and education.
Encouraging Creativity in Others – Our work can inspire peers and community members to explore art themselves.
